In Upper School (Grades 5–7), our learners recently participated in a public speaking exercise aimed at building communication and leadership skills. Each learner prepared a short talk on a topic of interest and presented it to their class. Topics ranged from saving the environment to favourite books, and even creative inventions!

This activity encouraged learners to think critically, organize ideas, and speak with clarity. We were especially pleased to see some of our more reserved students step out of their comfort zones. At Nkhwazi, we believe that nurturing communication skills early prepares learners for success both in and out of the classroom.
