Exploring the Richness of Zambian Culture

Culture Day at Nkhwazi Primary School is always a highlight—and this year was no exception. Students came dressed in traditional attire representing Zambia’s many tribes, while classrooms transformed into cultural displays showcasing language, food, art, and music.

The day began with a colourful parade, followed by energetic traditional dances and storytelling sessions led by learners. Parents were invited to join in and even participate in a special food tasting experience.

Culture Day deepens our learners’ appreciation of heritage, history, and identity—laying the foundation for respect and unity in a diverse world.
