Upper School (Grades 5–7)
Last stage of Primary School
At Nkhwazi Primary School, the Upper School represents the final and most formative stage of our primary education journey, guiding learners from Grades 5 to 7 through an engaging and challenging curriculum designed to prepare them for the next phase of their academic lives.

Encouraging Independent Thinking and Responsibility
During these critical years, we focus on fostering independence, resilience, and leadership. Learners are encouraged to take ownership of their studies, think critically, and contribute meaningfully to class discussions and group work. With increased academic expectations, students learn how to manage time, set goals, and approach challenges with confidence and perseverance.
Academic Excellence and Enrichment

Holistic Education
The curriculum is carefully structured to build strong competencies in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies while offering enrichment opportunities through ICT, Creative Arts, and extracurricular activities. This holistic approach ensures that learners are not only well-prepared academically but also develop a well-rounded worldview.
Preparing for the Future
Our dedicated teachers provide mentorship and individualized support as learners prepare for secondary education. By the time they complete Grade 7, students leave Nkhwazi with a solid academic foundation, strong values, and the confidence to succeed at Secondary School and beyond.
